How BinderPlug works
Add the cards you want and the cards you'd trade. Find nearby traders, work out a trade, and meet face to face.
Add cards. Broadcast your binder.
Add the cards you want to your Wishlist and the cards you'd trade to your Offer Binder. BinderPlug broadcasts them locally to help nearby traders find you.
Include printing and condition details so traders know what you're looking for and what you're offering. Your Offer Binder lists only the cards you'd trade; the rest of your collection stays with you.
Each list starts with 10 slots. Trading with different partners earns quest badges that raise each list, up to 100 slots.
Match and negotiate.
Find nearby traders with cards you want. BinderPlug also shows when you have cards on their Wishlist, so you can see where your binders overlap.
Propose which cards you give and which cards you get. The other trader can accept, decline, or send a counter-offer. Negotiation happens through proposals; there is no chat in BinderPlug.
When every card in the offer has a price estimate, a bar compares the estimated values of the two sides. Estimates are a guide, not a promise of what a card is worth.
Check the trader's completed trades, feedback, and trust level before deciding whether to propose a trade.
Meet to exchange cards.
Once you agree on the cards, propose a public spot and a time inside the trade, 3 to 14 days ahead. You can accept or counter the meetup plan before anyone travels.
Meet where you agreed and inspect every card in person. Complete the trade only when you both want to go ahead, then leave feedback afterward. Completed trades and feedback help build your track record.
Feedback is a thumbs up or down. Your partner's rating stays hidden until you have both rated, or until seven days after the meetup.
The app lists public places near you both, such as game stores, libraries, police stations, and coffee shops, and you choose where to meet. The list does not vouch for a place or guarantee the outcome of a meetup.

Scan a trader's QR code or open their Share Binder link to save them. Revisit their Offer Binder while sharing is active, and start a trade when you're in meetup range.
Share Binder gives you a QR code and a link to your own Offer Binder. Anyone with the link sees your display name and the cards you have up for trade, in the app or in a web browser. Sharing is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time; turning it on again makes a new link.

Is BinderPlug free?
Yes. You can build your binder, find nearby traders, and coordinate trades without paying to use the app.
Where can I use BinderPlug?
BinderPlug's Open Beta is coming soon for anyone 18 or older in the United States. We're starting with a focus on Southern California, and more local traders means more potential matches.
Can I ship cards or pay through the app?
No. Trades happen in person at a public place you both agree on. BinderPlug coordinates the trade and meetup; it does not handle shipping or payments.
How do I check a card's condition?
Review the listed condition and printing details before you meet, then inspect the card in person before agreeing to the exchange. BinderPlug does not grade, verify, or guarantee card condition or authenticity.
What does a trader's trust level tell me?
It reflects their history of completed trades and feedback. Read it alongside completed-trade counts and positive feedback when deciding who to meet. No level guarantees a trade or meetup outcome.
